Likeable Local started working with Tracy in 2016. At the time, our goal was to increase her Facebook page’s following to ensure that her social presence reflected her well established brand. We worked to bring her page up to nearly 1,500 followers by consistently posting engaging custom built content and page like ads. But, being popular on social media doesn’t always mean that sales are made and properties are sold.

Once her Facebook page was revamped, we worked with Tracy to define new goals: we wanted to increase scheduled showings and increase attendance at open houses. We saw that Tracy’s property landing pages were very well-crafted; she was already making use of photos, videos, and detailed write-ups to showcase her properties. So, we decided to use website traffic ads to generate interest in these pages - this would allow us to not only generate interest in her listings, but also gather information about who is in the real-estate market in her area and retarget those people with similar listings.

Since Tracy is a long time customer of ours, we were able to conduct several A/B tests and answer a number of questions specific to her business. We tested single image ads, video ads, carousel ads, and other formats to see what resonated with her audience. We were also able to get a sense of which demographics are most responsive to her ads. As time went on, we were able to decrease her costs while increasing ad response rates. With these combined tactics, we were able to reach over 13,000 potential buyers over the course of  a 4 month campaign, leading to 1,128 online showings! Our targeting efforts led to an average cost per click of just 46 cents - rock-bottom for the real estate profession.
