Creating A #LikeableWorld
The Likeable brand started in 2006 with founder Dave Kerpen and his wife Carrie's idea for a sponsored wedding, which generated thousands of media impressions and new business for their sponsors. When their sponsors, like 1-800 Flowers, asked what they were doing next, they couldn't get married again so they started a company, Likeable Media! Since 2006, Likeable Media's been helping some of the biggest brands in the world use the power of social media and word of mouth marketing to grow including, Verizon, Neutrogena, Entenmann's, Grubhub and more.
While innovating for these big brands was exciting, Dave had a growing passion for helping small businesses, who frequently reached out to Likeable Media but couldn't afford an agency. To help provide education and guidance for businesses of any size, Dave wrote Likeable Social Media, which went on to become a New York Times bestseller, and became a key member of the LinkedIn Influencer program and contributor for Forbes and Inc. and many other publications.
However, Dave quickly discovered that telling people how to succeed on social is one thing, and helping them actually do it is another. So in 2013, Dave started Likeable Local on a mission to transform small businesses into #LikeableBusinesses through the power of social media. We've taken everything Dave learned from driving results for some of America's biggest brands and packaged them into the Likeable Local dashboard - a platform designed with small business owners in mind. More importantly, our system is also being used by other local marketing agencies, helping them scale their business and drive better social results for their own clients.
